Directions to Marathon Expo – Friday 19 and Saturday 20 October

Bike
Are you coming to the Marathon Expo by bike? Then you can park your bike in the bicycle shed near the Na-Druk-Geluk Bridge (IJsbaanpad side).

Metro
The nearest Metro stops are Station Zuid and Amstelveenseweg (lines 50 and 51). The route to the Olympic Stadium and the Sporthallen Zuid sports complex is signposted from here. Check www.gvb.nl for the latest travel updates.

Tram and bus
Updates on changes to local tram and bus services on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 October will be posted online at www.9292.nl and www.gvb.nl.

The OV-chipcard has been the only way to access the public transport in Amsterdam. If you still do not have an OV-chipcard, you can buy one at the GVB Tickets&Info locations, dispensers in the metro stations, or at www.GVB.nl. There are also a sales outlet outside the Marathon Expo. For more information: www.GVB.nl.

Train
The Olympic Stadium and Marathon Expo are both within walking distance of Amsterdam Zuid station. Just follow the signs.

Car
Planning to drive to Amsterdam? It is not possible to park at Sporthallen Zuid. On Friday 19 and Saturday 20 October you can park at:

Make life easy – book parking online
Planning to drive to the TCS Amsterdam Marathon? Then book parking online for just €12.50.  As a participant or supporter of the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, you can park in the Q-Park Mahler car park in the Zuidas district for less if you book in advance.  Q-Park Mahler is just off the A10 and a 3-minute walk from the Amsterdam Zuid WTC train station. Take metro line 50 to Isolatorweg and get off at Amstelveenseweg. From here, it’s an 8-minute walk to the Olympic Stadium.

Discounted parking at the RAI if you book online
It’s also easy to pre-book parking at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre. And if you book online it costs just €10 to park all day. You can also park at the RAI without booking online. In that case, you pay €4 per hour. 

Parking at VUmc

Planning to drive to the TCS Amsterdam Marathon? You can park at the VUmc for a daily rate of € 12.50 incl.
